Nov 29 Primary Lesson 2026

"Seek the Lord, and Ye Shall Live" November 29, 2026 · Amos; Obadiah; Jonah

"Feed my lambs." (John 21:15)

Teaching Primary is one of the sweetest callings there is, and it's also a lot to get ready for on a busy week. These lessons follow the "Ideas for Teaching Children" in Come, Follow Me and turn them into simple, joyful pages you can print and teach. Short stories, wiggle-friendly games, a coloring page and a little something to take home. Everything a class of 4–11 year olds needs to feel Heavenly Father's love and learn about Jesus Christ.

This is a fifth Sunday. The manual suggests a lesson from Appendix B for Primary that day, so this lesson is a gentle, story-based option on Jonah you can use any time.

✿ TODAY THE CHILDREN WILL LEARN • Prophets are messengers of Jesus Christ. • The Lord helps me obey, even when it’s hard. • The Lord is merciful to everyone who turns to Him.

✿ THIS WEEK'S PAGES • Teacher guide with the song "Follow the Prophet" (Children’s Songbook, 110) • Story time: "Jonah and the Great Fish" with an "It's like…" comparison (turning around on a path) • Play and learn: Jonah Says, Whisper Message, Story Order, with cut-apart cards • Coloring page: "Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God" (Jonah 2:1) • Take-home cards, two per page, with a question for families

The teacher guide includes tips for little ones (4–7) and older kids (8–11).

✿ YOU'LL RECEIVE 1 PDF, 6 pages: a welcome page plus the 5 lesson pages.

✿ PRINTER FRIENDLY Every page has a white background with soft, light color accents, so it's easy on your ink and looks clean on plain paper. Sized for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). For A4, choose "fit to page" when printing.

✿ HOW IT WORKS 1. Purchase, then find your file under Purchases and Reviews (or in your email). 2. Download the PDF and print at home, at church or at a print shop. 3. Cut the cards on the dashed lines and gather a few simple supplies. 4. Teach! Follow the Spirit and the needs of your class. Use what helps and leave the rest.

✿ PLEASE NOTE • This is a digital download. No physical item will be shipped. • Colors may look slightly different on screen than in print. • For personal, family and single-ward/branch class use. Please don't resell or share the files. • This is an independent teaching help. It is not an official publication of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Please use it alongside Come, Follow Me — For Home and Church: Old Testament 2026.
