Dec 27 Youth Sunday School Lesson 2026

“We Have Waited for Him, and He Will Save Us” December 27, 2026 · Christmas

"Feed my sheep." (John 21:16)

Teaching the youth is a sacred trust, and with Sunday School now a 25-minute class every week, every minute counts. These lessons follow Come, Follow Me — For Home and Church: Old Testament 2026 and turn each week into one big idea, a few great questions and plenty of room for the youth to talk. Simple to prepare, easy to adapt and centered on Jesus Christ.

These pages are a guide, not a script. You know your youth. Pray for them, follow the Spirit, use what fits and leave the rest.

✿ THE BIG IDEA The whole Old Testament points to Jesus Christ, and He is the reason for our joy.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)

✿ THIS WEEK'S PAGES • 25-minute plan with key verses and a ready-to-send text for your class • Three openers to choose from (Ask: "Worth the wait", Show: "Christmas symbols", Real Life: "Looking back"), plus an optional activity: "Symbol Search" • Eight discussion cards, including real-life scenarios • Study notes handout and two take-home cards per page • Closing words: "His was and is the greatest life ever lived." (President Dallin H. Oaks, “Good Tidings of Great Joy”, December 2022) • Phone wallpaper: "His name shall be called Wonderful" (Isaiah 9:6)

✿ YOU'LL RECEIVE • 1 PDF, 6 pages: a welcome page plus the 5 lesson pages • 1 phone wallpaper (PNG)

✿ PRINTER FRIENDLY Every page has a white background with soft, light color accents, so it's easy on your ink and looks clean on plain paper. Sized for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). For A4, choose "fit to page" when printing.
